For my husband’s birthday, I made his childhood favorite: chocolate zucchini cake. Traditionally baked as a 9 x 13 cake, I opted to use a spring form pan to up the display factor. It tastes just as good as the original recipe! Love ya babe!

My friend Cavan planned a surprise birthday party for his husband Scott’s 30th birthday. He said Scott liked these things in relation to cake: chocolate, cherry and transformers. So, we made it work with chocolate cherry-chip cake and chocolate buttercream! The party included a rolling surprise of friends and family throughout the evening and a ride on a old-time fire truck throughout St. Paul with the Vulkans. What a great birthday surprise.

Lindsey “likes” to check out all of the treats I make via my facebook page and insisted on a custom cake for her 8th birthday party. She was pretty hands-on when it came to designing her cake, and it was fun to have such creative input!
