For this week’s upcoming Turkey dinner, I decided to reuse an updated classic: chocolate pumpkin tart. I’ll tell you one thing: I’m definitely thankful for chocolate this year. Here’s hoping it can make the car trip down to Aunt Jill’s unscathed.

I had one extra batch of key lime filling after last weekend’s wedding tarts, so I made a full-sized version to bring to Stef and Troy’s for dinner. Who says leftovers can’t look good?

Ben and Kristie’s wedding guests had a special treat for dessert. These key lime tarts seemed like the perfect finish to an outdoor wedding reception on White Bear Lake. Congrats to the happy couple!

For Halloween, I served up two tasty, fall-inspired treats. The first was a chocolate and pumpkin tart. Chocolate: good. Pumpkin: good. Chocolate pumpkin tart: really good! I also made individual apple pies using a new cutter and press and my go-to apple pie recipe. I must admit, I had to eat dessert twice!
