That’s my Cookie!

A few months back I created name-day cookies and cupcakes for a Viking Magazine photo shoot. The digital version is now available online! The boy model enjoyed the frosting so much, it was hard to get a good photo of him without his fingers in the cupcakes!

Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut

I tempted my coworkers into a meeting at work with treats, and was feeling kind of nutty when picking out which recipes to make. Their reward for attending tomorrow’s meeting: a choice of Salted Caramel Cashew or Peanut Chocolate Chip  & Oatmeal cookies. Which would you choose?

Corporate Valentine’s Day Gifts

As an entrepreneur, I definitely know the value of a good client. One local photo studio requested 16 dozen frosted sugar cookies to give to their best customers. Packaged in cellophane bags and tied with ribbon, these make an excellent Valentine’s Day treat.

Name-Day Cookies, Round 2

My client liked the cookies and cupcakes I made for their name-day celebration photo shoot, they requested a second batch to give as a gift for an actual “Erik’s” birthday. This order included frosted sugar cookies and sugar cookie cupcake toppers.

Name-day Celebration

I was commissioned to make these cookies and a few other name-specific treats for the cover of a Norwegian heritage magazine. The issue featues an article about name-day celebrations. I had fun finding alphabet cookie cutters and testing a new gingerbread cookie recipe. I can’t wait to see the professional photos!
