Now that Minneapolis has had its first dusting of snow, I can’t help but think about the holidays and some of my favorite sweet treats. Start thinking about your upcoming events and what type of baked good you’d like to share. I’m accepting orders from my holiday menu (above) through the end of November, for delivery through Dec. 20.

My girlfriend Kyle is expecting her first little one. We know it’s a boy, and that’s as much detail as the couple has shared! This cake is made of a 6- and 8-inch vanilla round with vanilla buttercream filling. The only direction I had was to try to match the baby’s bedding, which is blue and brown with polka dots and stripes. I can’t wait to share the cake with her and her other friends at this afternoon’s shower!

Stef and her firlfriends threw a low-key bridal shower for their friend who is expecting her second baby. This is an 8-inch vanilla cake with pink colored buttercream inside. The colors match the baby’s nursery.

A co-worker threw a baby shower for a friend and asked me to design the cake to look like the invitation she designed for the event. This is an 8-inch vanilla cake layered with chocolate buttercream.
My coworker is holding a going away party for her neighbors who are moving. This neighborhood-inspired cake is a 10-inch round chocolate cake with buttercream frosting underneath the fondant. This size cake serves 24 people.
